Trust What You Can’t See

The one who centers their being in life’s flow is grounded in the confidence of knowing that all circumstances result in their favor—not simply what their senses’ desires, but what their soul needs.

Others are distracted by their senses and desire what can be perceived. They rely on what is tangible and believe it necessary to control their path based on their perception.

But the one who centers their being in life’s flow trust what is intangible. She knows that by letting go, the limitless potential of benefits to her being is in her path.

LIVING THE TAO: Today when facing a situation that appears intractable, visualize yourself floating peacefully downstream toward the vast sea, without resistance. Using that feeling of peace, release your resistance to the circumstance then open your mind and heart to the lessons it brings. You will experience less stress and anxiety.

My 2018 focus is to intentionally live the Tao Te Ching. This is my second reading of Stephen Mitchell’s translation. I share my daily interpretations hoping to inspire you to do the same.
