| The Tao Chapter 7 – My Fourth Interpretation|

Mother earth springs her own elixir of life for your existence. She also brings forward all manner of delightful nutrient rich sustenance for your health and longevity. She does all of this selflessly, giving for your benefit. The earth holds the posture of service to others and still endures.

The earth’s pattern is a good model to follow.

Live in service to others and the essence of you will endure. The benefits of your service will live on through others.

As you put yourself behind, you come out ahead.

LIVING THE TAO: Today, I invite you to reflect on the first, secondand thirdinterpretations along with this fourth and ask, are there any shifts you are prepared to make today in relation to aligning with the art of living as shared in the Tao?

My 2018 focus is to intentionally live the Tao Te Ching. This is my fourth reading of Stephen Mitchell’s translation. I share my daily interpretations hoping to inspire you to do the same.
