| The Tao Chapter 57 – My Third Interpretation|

There is power in surrender.

Not the kind of surrender where one takes advantage of another, but surrender as in letting go of all the reins you hold. And not the kind of power where you reign dominance over others, but power where you inspire the best in others because of your beingness.

In your beingness, you allow your true self—your higher self—to guide your decisions. You are dogma-free, nonjudgmental, compassionate, and creative. In your beingness you are radiant so others want to follow. Your power then is not about mandates, dictates or control; it is about nurturing an environment where others are inspired to become their fullest potential because you are becoming yours through play.

Letting go of the reins of control make you a master of creating with life, not against it (as when you hold on.) Creativity with life is less stressful, more playful, more fun.

Therefore, inspiring others to maximize on the best they can be, happens when you do the same.

LIVING THE TAO: Today, remember that life can be a fun game. Rather than create stress from control, experience the playfulness of creativity. Stop trying to dominate and control.
