| The Tao Chapter 66 – My Second Interpretation |
The sea is vaster than the tributaries that feed into its greatness, yet by design it sits lower. This is nature’s model of humility.
Those who embody authentic power are humble. No one is made to feel beneath them or belittled.
Great power is married to humility and those who lead wisely know this.
LIVING THE TAO: Today, consider a situation where you are in the dominant role. Identify how you can put the needs of someone else before your own as you work together on accomplishing a task. Acting on your awareness in this way will help you grow in greatness.
My 2018 focus is to intentionally live the Tao Te Ching. This is my second reading of Stephen Mitchell’s translation. I share my daily interpretations hoping to inspire you to do the same.
Embrace your journey. Experience bliss. Live the Tao
