| The Tao Chapter 57 – My Interpretation |
A leader who excels is one who embraces life’s currents without the requirement of control. The leader plans, but releases the outcomes to the way of Providence.
A leader who excels refrains from excessive rules for they will be broken. The leader understands that man will seek freedom from restrictions, and instead hails autonomy.
The wise know this: the results you seek by restricting are better attained by letting go.
As I read Stephen Mitchell’s translation of the Tao Te Ching daily, I reflect and document my interpretation with the intention of living the Tao.
Note: If you choose to use the link above to get a of the Tao, I will receive a small portion of the proceeds to contribute to my work. The purpose of this post is not for you to buy the Tao. That is your choice. The purpose is to share my inspiration. That is my intention.
