| The Tao Chapter 37 – My Third Interpretation|
This thing called the flow of life does nothing yet accomplishes everything.
What does that mean?
A flow is the natural unforced movement of energy. This potential energy moves by an intention in its guided direction until it arrives at the thing it is to create, similar to the flow of electrical energy being guided to create electricity. It does not create with frantic action, striving, or working to exhaustion. It simply flows toward manifestation.
If in our social contract we agreed to live according to life’s flow, we would live in harmony. This can begin with you.
Generate harmony for yourself first and your actions will influence your sphere.
With time, we can manifest a new agreement.
LIVING THE TAO: Today, consider a result you’d like to see. (Make it low-stakes if that makes you feel more comfortable.) Establish your intention, do what’s in your power, then release the rest to the flow. Once a result has manifested, see how it worked for the benefit of all involved.
My 2018 focus is to intentionally live the Tao Te Ching. This is my third reading of Stephen Mitchell’s translation. I share my daily interpretations hoping to inspire you to do the same.
Embrace your journey. Experience bliss. Live the Tao.
