| The Tao Chapter 20 – My Second Interpretation |
Is it possible for your mind to cling to nothing?
Do you know that while you have, you do not possess?
Did you realize that experiences, pleasing or not, all pass?
The intangible part of you has no fingers to grasp. It has no means to hold, clasp or cling. This part of you—the part directly connected to your Source—entered this space with nothing. Your Source extension, the Soul, leaves this physical space with nothing—no car, no house, no money, no opinion, no desire, no prestige, no nothing. It leaves free, without clinging. So, in essence, your Soul does not cling and is free. Your mind can do the same.
It is possible.
LIVING THE TAO: Today, consider an opinion you hold in a disagreement. Emotionally divorce yourself from it and feel the feeling of your mind being in a neutral space regardless of the outcome.
