Be Rather Than Do

| The Tao Chapter 70 – My Third Interpretation|

There is no goal to set in order to live in surrender to life’s flow.

There is no to do list you can check off.

Living in the center of life’s stream requires no strategic plan.

No doing is your answer.

If you choose to allow the flow of life to carry you, if you choose to enjoy the magic of life as it unfolds before you, then simply be.

Be authentic. Be compassionate. Be the you that you know your higher nature has called you to be.

LIVING THE TAO: Today, stop trying to shine and take a break from striving. Try on something new. Sit in the space of silently sending out warm thoughts, and watch the room change. This is the beginning of being.

My 2018 focus is to intentionally live the Tao Te Ching. This is my third reading of Stephen Mitchell’s translation. I share my daily interpretations hoping to inspire you to do the same.
