| The Tao Chapter 78 – My Third Interpretation|
Water is soft. It gives way to what will pass through it. And water cleanses. It purifies as what will passes through. It surrenders and makes pure.
You can be like water.
Without rigidity or control, you can be supple allowing experiences to pass through you—allowing the flow. And as experiences pass through, transformation happens. The experiences are cleansed in that you learn how to let them serve your expansion.
Learn from anger, fear, joy and love. Rather than react, let them pass through you. Allow the cleansing. Learn from each experience. Your inner peace will grow and sustain you.
LIVING THE TAO: Today, when you feel an emotion that makes you tense, take a deep breath, release a big exhale and relax. Then begin to look for the lesson in the situation. You are allowing the experience to pass through and the transformational cleansing to occur.
My 2018 focus is to intentionally live the Tao Te Ching. This is my third reading of Stephen Mitchell’s translation. I share my daily interpretations hoping to inspire you to do the same.
Embrace your journey. Experience bliss. Live the Tao.
