Your Purpose is Within

| The Tao Chapter 11 – My Fifth Interpretation|

Purpose is found at the center, in the empty space.

A bowl’s purpose is made clear once it is filled. Its core holds the secret of its purpose.

Likewise, a vase or an empty cup.

Such is the case for you.

Your purpose is found at your center. As you are filled with joy from the right work, your purpose is made clear.

Be mindful in your dealings to find your purpose. It is at your center.

LIVING THE TAO: If you are not yet doing the work you love, follow the teachings of the Tao, identify it, and do it. There is a space that only you can fill.

My 2018 focus is to intentionally live the Tao Te Ching. This is my fifth reading of Stephen Mitchell’s translation. I share my daily interpretations hoping to inspire you to do the same.
