Trust Your Inner Knowing

A lack of understanding about how life’s flow works with, for and through you can lead to loftiness and arrogance. You rely on your primal perceptions and accept the distractions of your physical senses. You believe that separateness is truth.

But, full knowledge of the workings of life’s flow results in gratitude and humility. You rely on its guidance. Though it cannot be perceived by physical senses, it can be seen, felt and heard by something within; you can’t explain it, you just know it. Your trust in life’s flow helps you to see past the physical distractions and you are confident in your union with Ultimate Source.

Give yourself, your life, to the flow. You will no longer strive, neither will you be disappointed. Unlike perceptions that are fleeting, the flow of life is eternal. Trust the undying presence of life’s flow to always benefit your highest good.

LIVING THE TAO: Today, make time to ponder a resolved problem that seemed to miraculously work itself out, or simply ended without you. Identify the unseen connections that made it all work. If the connections weren’t created by you, then who? Ponder this in all problems you encounter and begin to let your answer take shape.

My 2018 focus is to intentionally live the Tao Te Ching. This is my second reading of Stephen Mitchell’s translation. I share my daily interpretations hoping to inspire you to do the same.
