Stillness.

Some despise it because of the discomfort they feel in silence. But stillness is the way to open your treasures.

When you understand who you are in this universe and appreciate your true nature, Stillness becomes a trusted companion.

Use your time in stillness to create harmony in your life.

LIVING THE TAO: Today, if you do not meditate, set the intention to sit quietly without doing anything for two to five minutes. Set a timer. If you are not able to do this then practice is required. Try sitting still for one minute every day and continue to add a minute over time until you reach 10 minutes. This practice will help you learn to steady your mind.

My 2018 focus is to intentionally live the Tao Te Ching. This is my third reading of Stephen Mitchell’s translation. I share my daily interpretations hoping to inspire you to do the same.
