| The Tao Chapter 26 – My Second Interpretation |
While a delicate flower, on the surface, may float about by the wind, it is unmoved due to being firmly rooted in its foundation.
Likewise, the wise may move about through various drama in a day, but despite the events experienced, she remains firmly rooted in the foundation of who she is.
Would a person of wisdom allow themselves to be blown about in their thoughts as an uprooted flower?
No.
Therefore, be firmly rooted in the foundation of your truth. Though various drama may try to carry you off throughout the day, let your foundation in your Source keep you unmoved.
LIVING THE TAO: Today, as you are in the midst of drama, mentally pull back, take a cleansing deep breath in, and exhale reminding yourself of the truth that matters. What matters is what is lasting. You are an extension of your powerful Source. That is what matters, not the drama.
My 2018 focus is to intentionally live the Tao Te Ching. This is my second reading of Stephen Mitchell’s translation. I share my daily interpretations hoping to inspire you to do the same.
Embrace your journey. Experience bliss. Live the Tao.
