| The Tao Chapter 63 – My Second Interpretation |
In the flow of life, people who are aware know that problems are not difficulties. Problems are a part of the process of growth. The wise are aware that challenges exist for the benefit of their evolution. They know that problems belong.
As the problem arises, move with it. The solution already exists. It too has a flow.
Silence your thoughts of concern in order to connect to the solution. Take the first small step the problem asks of you, then the next, then the next, until essentially, it resolves itself. And as it is resolved, you grow in wisdom.
Avoiding or resisting the problem as a nuisance only causes it to amplify. Instead, lean into it, embracing it as a part of your flow, given to you by life as a gift to bolster your growth.
Accept problems as a natural part of your process for greatness.
LIVING THE TAO: Today, think of one problem you’re facing. Feel the tenseness it creates in your body. Connect with that feeling and exhale it out as you lean into it. Ask, “What is the next small step this problem is asking of me?” Then do it. Repeat the process until it’s resolved, then look back to appreciate how you’ve grown.
My 2018 focus is to intentionally live the Tao Te Ching. This is my second reading of Stephen Mitchell’s translation. I share my daily interpretations hoping to inspire you to do the same.
Embrace your journey. Experience bliss. Live the Tao.
