The leader’s character establishes the ways of the people.

When your way is rigid, you set the stage for contention. When your way is fluid, you make space for cooperation.

Therefore, make compassion and surrender the cornerstone of your leadership.

Give resistance nothing to resist.

LIVING THE TAO: Today, reflect on your leadership style. Are your decisions only about your input? Do you feel you’re always up against resistance? If so, someone requires change. You.
