It’s Easier to Float

How does one drown? By splashing about frantically, resisting the water’s flow. She could save her life by calmly resting; then, without effort, she will rise to the top, float in harmony with the flow and thrive.

Such is life. You can experience it with ease and allow its flow to carry you, or you can constantly work strenuously to survive.

As you thrive in harmony with life’s flow, it does not and should not diminish anyone else’s experience.

Creating chaos is unnecessary. Depriving others is the result of your fears. Diminishing another being sheds light on your misunderstanding of power. You are surviving.

Choose harmony with life’s flow, so that together we thrive.

LIVING THE TAO: Today, consider an area of life where you are working hard to make something happen. How much peace would you have if you stopped? Do what is required of you—your due diligence—then stop. Stop drowning. Allow the result to be, and allow yourself to thrive in life’s flow.
