I don’t know why, but that’s what I was taught as a child.
Yet in my early reading, I saw, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.”
And the logical child I was, always seeking an answer when the answer was being avoided, I consulted Webster. He said, an image was an optical counterpart, a visual representation, and an exact likeness.
Still, I was scolded.
And as I grew, I was scolded.
You may judge me.
Yet still, I am an optical counterpart, a visual representation.
Writing this conjured up anxiety, even though that book indicated that I am a visual representation.
Am I the ultimate Source? Are you? Not saying that.
I am saying that I am here to be an expression of THE Ultimate.
I am a visual representation of God.
I am the exact likeness of God. And so are you.
When heard, it is heard as blasphemous because of history, and the fear that was taught to accompany it.
But strip the emotion, release the preconceived notions, and hear what it is simply.
You are the exact likeness.
You are a visual representation.
“You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.”
Can you embrace your power or does it scare you to say…
Fear not for you are God in individualized expression.
