| The Tao Chapter 52 – My Interpretation |
Alone, soil is void. When joined by the potential in a seed, it nurtures growth. Thee tree serves its purpose only to return to the soil and give life to the cycle once more. As nature models, so does our being follow this pattern: from Source, back to Source.
The tree is not concerned with becoming anything other than its design. And the tree, without yearning or striving, bears its own fruit, by its design. As nature models, so does our being follow. Learn from the tree.
Yielding to your design better serves the world than chasing your desires.
Learn from the tree. Stay rooted in your soil.
As I read Stephen Mitchell’s translation of the Tao Te Ching daily, I reflect and document my interpretation with the intention of living the Tao.
