| The Tao Chapter 77 – My Interpretation |
The flow of life expresses an energy of balance. That is its nature—to harmonize all circumstances so that excess and deficiency do not exist.
To create excess is to go against life’s balancing energy. Likewise, to create deficiency. Forcing imbalance on either side is resisting life’s flow. Inauthentic power requires constant exertion to hold up imbalances and is not be sustained by life’s natural flow.
The wise know that with balance comes abundance and harmony makes room for lasting success. It is best to allow the flow. There is enough for all.
As I read Stephen Mitchell’s translation of the Tao Te Ching daily, I reflect and document my interpretation with the intention of living the Tao.
Note: If you choose to use the link above to get a of the Tao, I will receive a small portion of the proceeds to contribute to my work. The purpose of this post is not for you to buy the Tao. That is your choice. The purpose is to share my inspiration. That is my intention.
