| The Tao Chapter 55 – My Second Interpretation |

The one who chooses to let her path be that of the flow of life, her will is flexible to its direction. Her only clinging is to its guidance, and like a newborn, she is powerfully instinctive.

Because she is wise, she allows circumstances to be as they are and does not grasp for a particular outcome. She allows natural order to unfold, knowing that the result is for the highest good of all.

She transforms disappointment into learning and knows that to struggle vigorously is to work against the flow.

The wise chooses the path of ease and grace; she follows her guidance and goes with the flow.

LIVING THE TAO: Today, instead of working vigorously to bend an outcome to your will, release it and allow the circumstance to follow its natural order. Then notice what ease and grace feels like.

My 2018 focus is to intentionally live the Tao Te Ching. This is my second reading of Stephen Mitchell’s translation. I share my daily interpretations hoping to inspire you to do the same.
