A Sound Mind

| The Tao Chapter 15 – My Third Interpretation|

Are you able to be in this manner:
-careful enough to mind yourself from creating harm?
-alert enough to determine the guidance you are receiving?
-courteous enough so that you emit the energy of gratefulness?
-soft enough so that the flow moves you?
-flexible enough to be shaped into a better version daily?
-open enough to learn so that your change is abundantly evident?
-undimmed by mind clutter because you allow silence?

Are you able to be patient, allowing your path to unfold before you in its due time?

Can you be still until the right moment to take the right action is presented to you, no matter how much your stillness can be measured by time?

The wise is able. She is present, allowing the experience, not swayed by distractions, and enjoying the moment to moment process of life.

LIVING THE TAO: Today, allow yourself to sit for two minutes admiring the beauty of sight (art, nature, etc.) sound (soothing music), or scent (your favorite food, etc.) Only do that and feel clarity wanting to settle in. This is a path toward having a sound mind.

My 2018 focus is to intentionally live the Tao Te Ching. This is my third reading of Stephen Mitchell’s translation. I share my daily interpretations hoping to inspire you to do the same.
