Accept that change is always happening around and you without you. Even now, your cells are being replaced, your blood is being transported and somewhere in the world birth and death are occurring.
Accept that change is always happening, allow it to be and release the burden of trying to control Life’s flow.
If you can accept that change is always happening without you, then you can begin to master the art of living.
LIVING THE TAO: Time and again the Tao reminds you to surrender your desire to control Life’s flow. You control neither life nor death, so enjoy the journey. Engage with what Life puts before you without creating the strife of wanting to direct it—because after all, you didn’t put the circumstance before you, Life did.

As the saying goes, “the only constant is change.” So, this being true, why do you latch yourself to what is temporary?
As everyone knows, we are in physical form for but a while. So, this being true, why are you afraid to achieve?
Trying to control what has been out of your control since birth wastes energy and contributes to your sorrow. So why do it?
Assume the mind of a free glee-filled child and allow life to flow. It is happening right now. Are you allowing or resisting?
Embrace the flow, and marvel at this experience called life.

In the morning the sun rises. In the evening it sets. Its pattern has been since time.
Rain forms in the clouds, then falls and returns.
Winds blow. Plants grow. And you breathe.
Everything for your existence happens for you. There are billions of living beings, yet your being is provided for.
You need not strive nor fret. You are in the flow, so just flow.

Wisdom offers the knowing that there is a way the energy of life flows and that surrendering to it is ideal. Partial knowing causes vacillation of thoughts and non-acceptance makes this wisdom foolish.
Moving with the energy of Life’s flow is like groping in the dark, yet surrendering to it offers light for way finding.
The energy of Life’s flow cannot be seen yet it is everywhere. Aligning with this intangible force allows for ease on your journey.
Along the way, trust in your true nature flourishes.

To uplift spirits and advance the benefit of all, cultivate the former.
Give others the room to flourish.
LIVING THE TAO: Today, consider who you have given a task. Equip them with the appropriate tools for success, demonstrate your belief in their ability to succeed, then step back and allow them to flourish.

When answers are sought externally, reliance on authorities become the solution.
When the expert positions herself as having the answers, dependence is the result.
When the Master positions herself as a guide, trust in the higher self is developed and the people discover their answers are within.
LIVING THE TAO: Today, think about how often you have admonished yourself for not listening to your gut, instinct, intuition or inner guidance. Start listening. The more you listen, the more you grow in trusting the inner voice, the less you need to seek a guru.

]]>Being centered in the stream of life’s flow cultivates ease and enjoyment in your life.
You learn to surrender to life happening for you and appreciate the connections between all things.
You are able to take one step at a time, free from worry, knowing that with each step you are being carried.
You are aware that there is no need to rush because all things happen in their perfect time.
Surrender to life’s flow or strive to make things happen your way.
Your true self knows the optimal choice. It is lighter.
You can be like the Masters who were before you. You can surrender to the Supreme Intelligence—the intangible thing that keeps your heart beating without you. It shaped your physical form before birth without you (your earlier path of ease) and can continue to shape your physical experience if you allow it.
But, you must allow it.
LIVING THE TAO: Today, consider what you’ve been worried about for a long time, or trying to make happen and think on the possibilities of what could life be like if you simply surrendered.

No matter how much you think you know, there is always an infinite amount left. The amount is beyond what your finite self can contain.
When you open to receive beyond the limitations of the five senses, you touch the infinite. You may call this your sixth sense, your gut, a knowing or simply your intuition. Regardless of its title, settling your conscious mind allows learning beyond your finite self.
Aligning with life’s flow and touching the infinite are keys to understanding your path with the passage of time.
And as you understand, your life expands gracefully.
LIVING THE TAO: Today, consider this: have you ever said, “I should have listened to my gut,” or “I need to trust my intuition?” Make today the day you do that. As you get a hunch, follow its leading and continue this practice daily. You may not be correct every time, but as you continue, you will grow to trust your intuition more each day. And your life will expand with grace.

Beyond chaos is calm.
Beyond failure is achievement
Though effortful to conceive in the moment, it is so.
The wise leans into life’s flow knowing that with her mind, fulfillment is inevitable when allowed.
LIVING THE TAO: Today, consider something that is not going your way. Hold your intention for the desired outcome. Release physical and mental control, then step aside allowing life to flow. In time you will experience fulfillment.

]]>The stone consistently brushed by water eventually melts away. Neither the gentleness of the water nor the toughness of the stone obstructs this phenomenon. It still occurs.
The water’s seeming inaction is action.
The water’s seeming inaction is it being.
Such is the case for your seeming inaction. Being your true self will create the aligned result.
Your true nature holds your possibilities.
