When hope is lost, religion is found. And with confusion, one may seek the guidance of a guru. But the wise teacher knows to remove herself so dependence is not formed.

It is the work of the one that is lost to unlearn what has brought the confusion and obscured hope.

Trust more in the guidance from within that leads you in the way of compassion.

LIVING THE TAO: Today, consider a person you are challenged by and ask yourself, “how have I contributed to creating difficulty in the relationship?” Face your truth. Accept your contribution, then ask, “what must I do to change myself?” Be silent and listen. The answer will come. Follow the guidance of your inner guru.
