With a sincere embrace of the knowing that all things change, clinging is released. With a sincere embrace that the passing of your physical existence is a part of an eternal journey, fear to achieve is eradicated.

Your birth, breath and aging were experienced without the work of your hands, yet you persist in controlling your path. This is akin to controlling the creation of the universe. You do not.

Learn to rest in the journey and observe the magic of how life happens for you. Otherwise, continue to create pain and disease from striving.

The choice is yours in every moment.

As I read Stephen Mitchell’s translation of the Tao Te Ching daily, I reflect and document my interpretation with the intention of living the Tao.
