| The Tao Chapter 52 – My Third Interpretation|

There is an intangible stream that has no beginning or end. From it all things emerge and return. It is the flow of life, the Way of Source. Not the way as in do things my way, but The Way as in a natural breeze that goes in the direction of its current.

As an electrical current is a flow that is carried and returned, so is this experience called life. Once you accept that you can choose to be carried by the flow, you make your burden easy and your yoke light.

Accepting the normative stories of “the shoulds” breed self-judgements, discontent and pain. Embracing the truth of who you are—the Way and how it works with you—create contentment, joy and peace.

Moving with life’s flow is not predictive. You cannot control the direction of the current. However, surrendering to it is your natural way of being. Allow it.

Life’s flow will carry you to your intended place with ease, when you allow it.

LIVING THE TAO: Today, consider the areas of your life where it feels like an uphill battle. What would happen If you did your due diligence then surrendered to allowing, while letting go of the stories of “the shoulds?” Would you rest and have peace?
