Before everything that is physical, there was the intangible form.
All things are descendants of this intangible creative force.
This same creative power is stamped on your DNA. Its presence flows through your veins.
You are born of the earth.
The earth is born of the universe.
The universe is born of the intangible creative Life force.
The intangible creative Life force is born of itself.
It is exceptionally extraordinary; therefore, you are exceptionally extraordinary.
LIVING THE TAO: In case you are beating up on yourself for anything, turn that around by remembering what you are and where you came from.

Before the first physical being, there was Existence—some call it Source, others call it God.
Existence in its unfathomable way shaped all things that followed—elements of nature, water, earth, sky, creatures and living beings. In its way, incomprehensible to the human mind, Existence created the synchronicities between all the elements it shaped, and these synchronicities are what is known as Life’s Flow.
The flow existed with Existence before all of the elements it shaped.
You are one of those elements.
Synchronicities have already been created on your behalf, therefore, a flow already exists for you.
Your true work is to hold this truth, silence your mind to Existence, align with it, and go with your flow.
LIVING THE TAO: Today, I invite you to reflect on the first, second and third interpretations along with this fourth and ask, are there any shifts you are prepared to make today in relation to aligning with the art of living as shared in the Tao?

As with a bowl, there is the form and the empty space. The form supports the work of the space. The space allows for the purpose of the bowl.
Likewise, a dwelling’s purpose is to give room to live. The form—walls, doors, etc.—supports the work of the empty space, the areas in which we live.
So are you: you are made up of form and empty space. Your body supports the work of your empty space—the intangible part of you. Respect the form but give honor to the intangible.
Your physical being supports the work of your purpose, but it’s in your empty space, your Divine Intangible, where your purpose originates.
LIVING THE TAO: Today, take a few moments to observe everything around you and recognize that it all began in empty space—the mind. Allow yourself to marvel at the miracle, that from nothing, comes something. Remember that you too are form and empty space and marvel at yourself.

The Ultimate Source of all things was before you and will be after you. You exist within its mind. Therefore, you are a thought of Source, created in the likeness of it. Hence, you too are a creator of thought. Your thoughts are an extension of the original thought coming from Source.
Knowing this, the wise does not fret over results. She knows that her Source nestles her in what best serves her existence. Nor does she attach herself to outcomes and objects because as thought, all things are temporal. Her mind is an extension of the original mind. She need not worry about results.
So, rest in this: you are already fulfilled. Simply allow yourself to flow as a thought that creates and fully experience the journey.
LIVING THE TAO: Today, at any moment, stop and observe the situation—the room, the people, the surrounding. That’s it. Soak up the moment as a part of your experience and get from it what it offers.

]]>You are made up of the same stuff of the ever-expanding Ultimate Source. As it has been said of you, “let us make [wo]man in our own image.” Hence, you mirror a great creative Source. Your creative potential is as great as you allow it to be.
Your power has always been within you, waiting for you to remember who you are.
LIVING THE TAO: Today, take a few moments to sit quietly in silence. Close your eyes and pay attention to your inhale and exhale. Repeat to yourself a few times “I am able.” Return to your work and notice how much more effective you are. You are allowing a portion of your power to emerge.

]]>Time has given us a beginning. At the beginning of life is Source, God, The Ultimate. By Source, you came with the harmonious potential to create, both with your mind and your hands. Through man all physical form is realized with the dual potential of creative energy.
Silence makes room for creative energy.
The common person abhors it because she believes she is alone. The wise person welcomes it because she knows that potential is born into the physical by it. In the silence is Source.
As you flow with life, harmoniously realizing the dual potential of your creative power, you create as one with your Source.
LIVING THE TAO: Today, consider an opportunity that life has put before you. Before jumping in, use your quieted mind to see the best creation of it, then use your hands to do the work. You will see some of your best work come forth.

It is a seed, yet it doesn’t create.
It gives birth to all things, yet it holds on to nothing.
It is in you awaiting excavation, yet it is silent.
It endures when materials have passed on.
The seed of universal wisdom is; hence, it is magnanimous.
As I read Stephen Mitchell’s translation of the Tao Te Ching daily, I reflect and document my interpretation with the intention of living the Tao.
All phenomena have their foundation.
The wise knows that in the silence of her mind she can create worlds.
Therefore, let your foundation be firm, let your mind be settled, and unite with the intangible part of you.

Before beingness, there was stillness; from that place, all things were born. That place is the origin of the kingdom within—universal consciousness.
Consciousness moves through and around all things.
Consciousness, the universe, earth and man—the potential of each is immeasurable.
Man was formed after the earth’s existence.
The earth after the universe.
The universe after consciousness.
Consciousness after itself.
This is the origin of your immeasurable potential.

The All loves—nurtures, guides, protects, provides, cares for—you on a level that is never-ending. Its love is beyond what your mind can conceive.
Yet invisible, The All that nurtures, guides, protects, provides and cares for you is able to create limitless possibilities in all dimensions.
The All that can and does create limitless possibilities is the “Kingdom of God” within you.
It is your power to use. Create as you choose from your Kingdom within.
