The reality is I was cut twice by the Redskins and I was cut about 3 times, at least, by the Dolphins…and I ended my pro-career in Berlin in the now defunct NFL Europe League.

Yep. That was a story of encouragement.

Josh, a former co-worker, used to always encourage me about my wins–especially when I saw them as losses. He always seemed to be able to find the silver lining. And it wasn’t just made up, it was real!

His message (below) is a reminder to all of us that we should embrace our story, no matter how defeated we may think we are because our stories matter.
