In all you do, both work and play, focus on the process rather than the end, while allowing the process to unfold itself.
Be open to learning from all people and situations. The wise know to do this. It is how he becomes wise.
Darkness gives us our purpose—to be light. Without darkness, there is no purpose for the teacher, and no learning for all—the teacher and the student.
Everything is needed for growth. This is the lesson.
As I read Stephen Mitchell’s translation of the Tao Te Ching daily, I reflect and document my interpretation with the intention of living the Tao.
