The Tao Chapter 39 – My Interpretation
Life can be like a river if you allow it. All rivers flow toward their original source without striving, from birth to completion. Without resistance or obstruction from itself, there is a harmonious flow. Life can be this way.
Man’s obstruction of the natural flow of life is destructive for everything and everyone.
The wise sees the connections between all things and respects the harmonious flow. The wise does not resist or obstruct, but allows life to happen through them.
As I read Stephen Mitchell’s translation of the Tao Te Ching daily, I reflect and document my interpretation with the intention of living the Tao.
